TANGO... "That hurt me... and although this, I love you..."
Performances design by Mr. Victor Recalde and Mrs. Graciela Pons for Ballet El Trébol of Argentina. Old musical versions register moments of the history of Tango, insinuating its origins of sensual dance, of nocturne hallrooms where to dance was the sign of a country that was being built in the mixture of nationalities. As a book page with old photographs of an Argentina inhabited by immigrants, creoles, mulattoes, natives... with all the characteristics that conformed the identity of an exotic nation. With Mr. Victor Recalde`s choreography and Mrs. Graciel Pon`s expressive hallmark, Tango in stage show an epock when gestures, attitudes and a great part of the identity of Argentinian people changed for ever.
Ballet El Trébol relies on "The Gardel of Gold" awarded by the Argentinian Assosiation of Tango in 1992.
